客厅屏风隔断，是客厅与室外之间的装饰隔断物品，是进入客厅的缓冲区，也是避免室外一眼望尽室内客厅的阻隔遮挡之物。客厅屏风隔断具有防冲、防泄功能，同时也能使入门者静气敛神，甚至起到避煞挡煞的风水作用。当然，不置可否，它也不失为家居住宅里的美化高雅装饰品。

  　　②居室大门朝南、西南、东北方向，五行属火，玄学上五行火能生土的气，所以宜采用五行属火的塑料材料制成的屏风。  

  　　③居室大门朝西、西北方向，五行属金，玄学上五行金能强化金的生气，所以宜采用五行属金的铜、钢、铁等金属材料制成的屏风。  

  　　④居室大门朝北方向，五行属水，玄学上五行金和水都能生金的生气，所以宜采用五行属金、水的玻璃材料制成的屏风。  

  　　当然，如果家里的房子面积本来就不大，不适合设置屏风，而且大门与阳台、窗户、房门、厨门、厕门相对的话，都不需要设置屏风来改善风水环境。
